TRUE LOVE

               A pleasant evening. Stella walked lucidly along the dark bushes of her garden. Small white lilly flowers gave a graceful smile and she smiled too. But her thought was something else. It was him who had conquered her heart. Rohith….Rohith is a handsome young boy in her college. He is charming and also gifted with sweet voice. His songs touched her heart. Stella doesn’t know what to do. But one thing is quite sure. She was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

                   The next day at college. She reached early in the class and took her seat. After some time Shreya entered. Do you know who is Shreya? Well, she is her best friend. When Shreya saw stella, she ran to her place and gave her the most shocking news. Rohith’s father got a transfer to Mumbai so they are leaving this week. For the next two minutes, Stella couldn’t utter a word. She lost her control. Tears formed as river on her face. Shreya knew all things regarding Stella. So she consoled her. She said, “two more days to go Stella..we have time”.

              Stella wished to reveal her love. But she couldn’t make it, as she was so nervous and worried. At the weekend, Rohith arranged a party. It was beautiful. All the colleagues gathered together and made it wonderful. All were happy except Stella. She doesn’t know why, as she approaches him, her heartbeat rose. Throat became dry. At last  he was gone..

                     Stella became moody and off-minded. She couldn’t concentrate on anything. Her mind gets frustrated. Altogether she faced utter depression..time passed and gradually she gains her strength back with the help of Shreya. But one question remained in her mind. Was it a true love?? She searched for the answer. But the answers she got were not sufficient for her satisfaction.

         One day Stella was on the kitchen with her mother. She has never entered on the kitchen because she has always hated cooking. The fact is that she didn’t know how to cook and wasn’t interested in learning it. Any way she decided to talk with her mother. She told everything. About Rohith, her thoughts and all. After sharing this, she felt relaxed. And her mind became as clear as a crystal. Listening to her, mother gave a deep hug and kissed on her forehead. Suddenly she got her answer..Now she realised what is true love. With a smile she said

    “Mother, I love you..you are my TRUE LOVE”. Aiswarya Regi
